Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard has commented on goalkeeper, Willy Caballero’s performance following his side’s Premier League 2-2 draw against Leicester City on Saturday.

Lampard says Caballero, who started ahead of Kepa, did pretty good against Brendan Rodgers’ side, adding that the 38-year-old made some excellent saves during the encounter.

The Blues and the Foxes played shared a point each at the King Power Stadium, thanks to goals from Antonio Rudiger (2), Harvey Barnes (1), and Ben Chilwell (1).

“I am not going to talk about that now,” Lampard told BT Sport when asked if Caballero would keep his place.”

“But I thought Caballero’s overall performance was pretty good. He made some excellent saves, was comfortable with his feet.”

“I was right behind the Harvey Barnes goal. It was typical the deflection it was instantly in, so there wasn’t much he could do with either goal.”

Lampard’s men will tackle Manchester United in their Premier League fixture on February 17.
