Over one hundred terrorists have been confirmed dead as two terror groups, Boko Haram and Islamic State of West Africa Province [ISWAP] militants clashed on Monday.
A source revealed that a deadly infighting between the Nigeria’s two terror groups broke out and lasted for nine hours.
The deadly clash left over one hundred terrorists dead while several sustained severe injuries.
Presently, there are insinuations that a prolonged internecine conflict between the two groups is about to be witnessed in the north eastern part of Nigeria.
The last clash between the two groups led to the reported death of Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau.
According to sources, his son Mohammed Shekau took over the leadership following his father’s death.
