Femi Aribisala, renowned columnist and pastor has joined the long list of Nigerians calling for the zoning of the 2023 presidency to the Southeast of the country.
Since the return of democracy in 1999, the Southeast of Nigeria has been the only region that is yet to produce a president.
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), have been urged by concerned Nigerians to zone their presidential tickets to the region for the interest of National unity.
However, Femi Aribisala in a statement said, “I am Yoruba. Nevertheless, I declare: The time is long overdue. In the interest of national unity, the next president of Nigeria must be an Igbo man. God will make it happen, in Jesus’ Name.”
